Top 5 Smartphones to buy this holiday!

November 16, 2017

With all the many options of smartphones that are on the market it can easily become very confusing as to which one is the one that you should purchase. Really it is always going to come down to what your needs are and preferences and with that being said there really is no one perfect smartphone for everyone. However the smartphones that I am going to list below should definitely be on your shopping list this holiday season. These phones are not listed according to which is better but just the top 5.

1. iPhone X: For the gadget lover, luxury buyer, iOS fan

The iPhone X (http://amzn.to/2iZBfDt) represents Apples vision for the future of the iOS smartphone. This device features a luxurious stainless steel frame with a Samsung manufactured 5.8 inch OLED display. This device brings a lightning quick A11 cpu and 2 portrait mode cameras on the rear and front that will give you that background blur similar to that of a DSLR. Not to mention the latest iOS 11 pre installed with the phone and the all new Face I.D. that analyzes face information to unlock your phone. Rest assure if your the gadget lover who likes to try all the new technology, the luxury buyer who wants one of the most premium feeling devices on the market, or your just a fan of iOS that is just plain bored of the same old iPhone year after year, the Apple iPhone X will easily be worth its $1000 asking price for you. Just make sure you get insurance on the device as replacement screens will cost an additional few hundred bucks. 2. Samsung Galaxy Note 8: For business users, big screen lovers, artists, creatives, and power users

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 ( http://amzn.to/2j0lBYD ) is something that many people where not sure would even exist for Samsung as the last years Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had many issues with batteries catching on fire that Samsung had to recall the devices. However, with the loyal fanbase of the Note line, it would not have been a wise move in my opinion for Samsung to ignore this audience. With that being said, you have a great holiday option here if your a business user, big screen lover, an artist, a creative, or a power user. The Note 8 really crams all that it can into a sleek symmetrical design introduced earlier this year with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. The device will net you a 6.3 inch infinity display which is marketing terms for a 6.3 inch Super AMOLED 2K resolution screen. You get over 500 ppi with this device giving you a very sharp panel. Also you will get a Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 chipset with this phone. 6GB of ram is standard on all Samsung Galaxy Note 8 devices. Being a Note 8 you get the functionality of the S-Pen which really puts the Note 8 in a league of its own. The Note 8 is surely a very versatile product that can be useful for many different types of customers and should be consider this holiday season as one of the top picks of 2017. 3. Google Pixel 2: The cheaper flagship with future support guaranteed.

The Google Pixel 2 is the cheaper flagship of many of the smartphones released in 2017 and is definitely worth considering this holiday season. The Pixel 2 offers the highest rated camera of any smartphone as it uses machine learning with its picture taking. Also you get the Snapdragon 835 and 4GB of ram. You get a 2700 mah battery which is nothing to be to excited about, but should get you through the day. The pixel 2 (yes the smaller one) . makes the list because for under $700 you finally get an android phone that is not too large, offers incredible photo abilities, and guaranteed software updates being that it is a google device. This smartphone will also ship with Android Oreo out of the box, which cannot be said for many smartphones!

4. iPhone 8 Plus: For traditional iPhone fans not ready for change

While the Apple iPhone 8 Plus (http://amzn.to/2yIXHaF) is not a huge departure from the prior iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 7 Plus series of smartphones, what it does offer is a refinement that those other phones cannot match. The glass design takes the iPhone 8 Plus to next level of premium. The incredibly efficient A11 chipset and the Dual portrait mode cameras that now include new features for changing your lighting scenarios, this makes the iPhone 8 Plus a worthy upgrade over the prior editions and if your not interested in the new iPhone X but still want an iPhone this is the best it gets. Just remember value of this phone might decrease as this design will likely be dropped next year from the lineup of iPhones. Don't sweat it though, this is a great purchase and it won't cost $1000 to experience a 2017 iPhone. 5. Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are two smartphones that really led the way this year with its all new display and is a phone that should be on your shopping list due to the decreased price point and still giving you most of the best you can get from a smartphone in 2017. A snapdragon 835 is on board with both devices, 4GB of ram, 5.8 and 6.2 inch displays respectively that are of the Super Amoled 2K variety. Dual Pixel 12 MP cameras on the rear and designs that are so sleek even the iPhone X did not shock many as the S8 already stole the show earlier this year. The conclusion is this; if your looking for an amazing one handed phone with all the top specs you could ask for in 2017 grab the Samsung Galaxy S8 (http://amzn.to/2zL052b) and if your looking for even more screen and battery life grab the slightly larger Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus (http://amzn.to/2yKI2HQ) these phones are sure to not disappoint this holiday shopping season.
